Fleecher Designs was born from a designer’s need for a challenging creative experience within the confines of a business model. Laura started this little branding studio back in 2014, with hopes to provide great design for small businesses.
Over the last 6 years, we’ve pinpointed the biggest need for small businesses: strong branding at affordable pricing. So we created streamlined branding packages with straightforward pricing and crystal clear expectations.
Our hearts are with small businesses making big impacts, and we want to help those businesses succeed with the best design resources out there. From branding to monthly design retainers to a-la-carte deliverables, we’re here to help you reach your audience creatively and consistently.

Laura Balfour
owner, lead designer
With roots in South Georgia and a design degree from UGA, I’m a big-family-loving, hyper-organized wife and mama that is still coming to terms with the fact that I’m an “adult.” So how did I get to be a designer? I won a t-shirt design contest in the 5th grade for the local chapter of the Red Cross (my grandmother still wears her shirt proudly) and the rest is history, sorta.
I started my design career in a stationery shop, making custom wedding invitations for heart-eyed brides. I quickly learned the real art of meeting deadlines, friendly customer service, and the importance of running a “press check” for letterpress orders.
Want to know a little more? I met my husband on a cruise, married him 3 years later, and welcomed our perfect baby girl at the beginning of 2018. I learned to love black coffee out of the sake of convenience, get cheap therapy from cleaning out junk drawers, and think the happiest offices have an abundance of natural light.

Payton Fletcher

Hey there! Most days you can find me at the dog park with my dog, #EllieMaeTheHusky, or nannying for some of the best families in Atlanta. I am mostly known as the fun and carefree photographer for my family and friend groups. I guess that’s the natural step after earning a photography degree… which I’m ok with!
I graduated from Georgia College in 2016 and completed my last bit of college credits in Amsterdam and Paris studying Art and History. Since then, I fell in love with travel! I moved from South Georgia to Atlanta as the Marketing Coordinator for a local travel agency just a few years before I joined the Fleecher team.
When I’m not working at Fleecher Studio, you can find me babysitting super cute babies and introducing the 6, 8, and 12-year-old I nanny to Disney magic.
